Cool Fedora6 Newbie

iam new to linux. iam fighting red hat fedora6.
i love the way xfce4 works. the apps on linux are almost failproof. i like the multiple desktops(i keep thunderbird open on 1, burn with k3b in another, and actively keep 1 or 2 available for docs, internet or whatever.

my problem "I caint install nvidia for my 6800gt!"
is there a good source for Linux ABCs?

i would like you to take a look at:www.linux-tutorial.info... it's a great site and every now and then i get on it and start reading!
Nvidia provides native linux drivers from thier site. you have to download the driver, switch to run level 3 and run the installation script and done!
what's a run level 3? try to read about it from the site above and if you have questions post :-)
