Fedora Core 5 Newbie

Hello Everyone,

After experimenting with various flavors of Linux, including Ubuntu, SuSe, Mandriva, and Fedora, I settled on Fedora Core 5.

As a longtime user of Mac and Windows systems, I find Linux to be a refreshing change. Although some claim that Linux contains elements of both, I'd rather like to believe Linux is its own creature, replete with its own special brand of challenges and rewards.

Anyway, thanks for tolerating my rambling. I hope to be a Linux user for a long time to come.

Regards,
Jim

I'll agree with you there. I will also say that there are elements of both Macintosh and Windows in Linux - but you can completely remove those similarities altogether if you so desire.

Glad to hear that everything is working well for you.
