Entering the world of Linux (again-ish)

Hello!

Just introducing myself here. Coming to Linux for (almost) the first time with a new server for our ERP system. They've moved from OpenVMS to Linux which is a huge improvement so we're following along, at least for a while.

I have experience with Solaris 9 & 10, so I'm finding some of what I'm seeing with Linux both familiar and very different. But...I've already found one enormously helpful thread.
