Complete noob

Greetz all. I am a complete noob to Linux just having installed mandrake 9.1 on a laptop. I need all the help I can get with this one.

I'll do what I can Welcome to LQ! A few features to become familiar with will be the buttons in the upper right hand corner of the screen, mainly:

Excellent tool, and can really help you out in a bind when it's imperative you have a question answered soon.

Thanks Chad. I am a maven with XP and the rest of Windows OS as well as SMod at other Boards so I am not a complete noob on these forums. Starting over with something new is always exciting for me and this one has me baffled. Thanks for the reply.
