Smile CodeSlayer2010, at your service.

Hello all!

I've recently been hired in a role as a linux admin and for a long time I've been able to succesfully scour existing posts on this and other forums. However, I have recently begun running into issues I haven't been able to find an answer already provided for. Thus I have registered on this and a few other forums to hopefully be able to source the most current information, from multiple viewpoints and levels of expertise.

I hope to progress from linux newbie to linux master with your help. Eventually, I hope to be able to help others with their linux questions based on the knowlege I gain in the process. I look forward to chatting with you real soon! :0)

Cheers and Blessings all!

Haha ... Yes ... I do see how that looks now, Celyr. I should say more precisely, I've been a LAMP developer for 3 years, in various contracts where my job has always been to work in a well-established complex data-driven object-oriented code base, sometimes with Perl and other times with PHP. I've always been able to develop in linux, but in my current role, my title is Web Developer, but there is a heavier emphasis on administration of the OS, as opposed to just usery. Hope that clarifies things!
