Been away from *NIX for 15-20 years.

Trying to get back with Linux ????. Have tried 8-10 different distros and find that much has changed. For now I have settled on Fedora 11 but that may change. A lot depends on wireless capability which seems to be a common problem. Lookingf for help led me here via a thread from about 2 1/2 years ago. "TheKid" had exactly my problem. I don't seem to have the files he ended up modifying or the knowledge of what changes he made so will probably post in the appropriate place if I'm still stuck after another week or so. Anyway, a big hello to all the helpful people out there.
