Another new girl

Hiya,

I'm new here. (Duh). I started using Debian a few months ago and went single boot after a convenient hard disk crash shortly after that. I'm lucky to have befriended one very experienced user and a guru before that (which is probably why I started with Debian right away, and not a more 'newbie-friendly' distro).

When I'm not trying to get my computer to display an actual background instead of a flikkering field of grey dots, I study Phyisics or sing in a choir. I'm also on IRC a lot.

Well, that's it, I suppose...

Welcome. Enjoy your stay.

Physics... great major. My first roommate in college was an astro-physics major... really takes a different kind of person.

Nothing meant by that... I'm sure you're perfectly normal. LOL

I'm going to shut my trap now... clearly I don't get out much.
