I'm also using openSuSe 10.2 on my home pc but I'm not sure it has the latest linux drivers for my machine. Could somebody point me to a distro that stands the best chance of having all the drivers for my laptop? Thanks

Hi. I'm a newbie as well and I also have an Acer Aspire 5335-2238. I recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 and I have not been able to get my wireless working. It works fine in Windows {I'm set up to dual-boot}, but when I restart in Ubuntu, it doesn't show "Wireless Connections" in my Network Manager icon tray. I checked a couple of Linux forums online and found I wasn't the only one with this problem. I've read that there is a new release of Ubuntu 9.4 coming out April 23 that should have a fix for this and other bugs. Unless you want Sabayon , Freespire, or another version of Linux, I would just save yourself some heartache and wait till then.I hope this helps.
