Yup, the title's correct. Recent transplant from Hawaii to Virginia. And while I'm bummed to be away from the sun and waves, an opportunity for Grad school at William and Mary was worth it. Turns out all the boxes in our lab use Linux, so while I grew up on PCs and migrated to Mac about 7 years ago, I figured it was time to learn Linux. Most of this morning was spent setting up and installing Linux with a dual boot on a Macbook Pro. Naturally, I'm out looking for tips and tricks and to figure my way around this OS before classes start next week.
So, again, Aloha!
