OK, so let's get the awkward "Hi guys, I'm new :D" post out of the way....

So, Hi ya'll I'm new...lol. I'm a programmer, working currently on learning java, programming currently in perl. I've had opensuse 10.3 for some time, since I began coding several years ago, but I just haven't devoted the time I should have to linux sys admin and now, here I am paying the price for it. So hopefully some of the veterans will take mercy on me and help me along, because I've been rtfm (huge emphasis on the "f" (for friendly manual, of course ;)) and I'm about as frustrated as one gets before ultimate monitor destruction hazards begin to develop.

Anyway, so that's it for my intro I guess....
