Ahoy-hoy from the east coast...

H'lo there, everybody. Just signed in. For months I've been using this site to help me with some Linux frustrations, so I figured it's only fair that I actually register on it!

My name is Sean, handle is "Dauber" because when I was in college eveybody told me I look like "that guy from Coach." Didn't help at all that I worked for the football team! Jersey resident for over seven years, transplanted from the Chicago area, where I hope to return before too long.

Anyhoo...I've only been using Linux for about nine months. I run it on my AmigaOne -- I have a microA1-C that runs Amiga OS4, and I set up Debian on it as well. As much as I love Amiga OS4, lately I've been using Linux a lot more -- Pan is a far better newsreader than anything Amiga ever had; MLDonkey isn't available on Amiga OS4 [yet]; eBay suddenly doesn't work properly on Amiga browsers; OpenOffice.org -- 'nuff said; and I just got an iPod, which works FABULOUSLY with GTKPod! I actually PREFER to use OS4 because it's faster, smoother and more friendly, but hey, sometimes ya gotta switch back and forth.
