A new dreg

Hi gang
I've been Linux newbie for over ten years :}
Started on Redhat in the nineties, messed with Mandrake, Slack, SuSe, other distros I've forgotten and several CD/"rescue" distros. Concentrating on Debian presently.
I have an Asus EEEbox and EEEpc, both running Debian fairly well. Two other Win2k/XP laptops which are rarely used and could be converted. One huge graphics workstation runs XP for video/photo work. It could be linux as well if it weren't for Adobe respecting only (some) commercial OS's.

I feel much better off for running Linux. It can be frustrating, but as with some of the larger questions in life, I think it's best to discover the answers rather then have them revealed. Looking forward to asking many questions, maybe answering a few. Later all!
