A green Linux user

I am new to Linux and I am going through the tribulations. It is a frustrating experience for
somebody used to Windows learning all the ropes. I am using Mandrake 10.1 and I am having some issues. Maybe someday I will be able to help somebody instead of having to
ask for help. I teach automotive technology at Wyotevh in Laramie, Wyoming, USA.
