Thumbs up A brief introduction

I am veloraptor04. Retired former PATCO Union officer at PATCO Local 366 in Lousiville Kentucky ( Yes, I was fired by President Ronald Reagan for allegedly striking against the US Government, sometimes you have to put your money where your mouth is), now retired and living in Middleburg Florida. I am trying to get into Linux and Knoppix as an alternative to the monster Windows. Open source is the future of computing and I would like to be part of that. I still run a RAID array and computer system that is 100% SCSI. That should tell you something. I would say that I am a software minimalist, and a hardware maximalist. My motto is " you can't have too many disk drives" or, " you know you have too many hard drives when the 30 amp circuit breaker blows when you fire them off".
