Compiling Ndiswrapper from source

1. Get the ndiswrapper source code from http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net and untar it(I presume you know how to untar sourcecode)

NOTE:Make sure you have gcc, kernel source and kernel headers installed before compiling ndiswrapper

2.cd to where the ndiswrapper sourcecode is, run
Code:
make
then, as root
Code:
make install
3.cd to the directory with your wireless drivers, and run, as root
Code:
ndiswrapper -i <driver>.inf
4.now run, as root

tried all this and when i run wpa_gui it doesn't even recognize adapter and no im not on internet
