Does it configure? Can you set it's ESSID as normal?

It's cool. Just try "iwconfig eth1".

Your wireless card's name is "eth1", not "wlan0"

That should make it work. Don't mind the missing "hardware found" message, it would seem that everything is working fine, as your wireless card is found at eth1, and it's wireless extensions are reporting.

Replace all the "wlan0"s you come accross with "eth1", and things should work okay.

Let me know.

Your English is not bad. I will make my reply simple so it is easy to read.

go to "/lib/modules/" and see the directories there. There should be a directory named your kernel version. Your kernel version is the output of "uname -r".

If there is no directory with that name, then go in to each of them and open the "misc" directory, then look for ndiswrapper.ko

When you find it, use "insmod ndiswrapper.ko" to load the module.

If this does not work, then please post the output of "uname -r"

I'm sorry if I've offended you by writing simple sentences. I was trying to make it easier to read.

Best luck!

I am sorry. This is too complicated for me. I do not know what that error message means. I have never seem one like it.

Have you made any big changes to your Linux after you installed it?

Maybe the kernel you are using is of the wrong CPU type?

What kind of CPU do you have?

The Duron is a i686, you do not need to change kernels.

I still do not know what the error message means.

I do not know what to do.
