Thanks, Michael. Your guide saved me a ton of time and effort. I'll keep it short - this script worked on a new-in-box Belkin F5D7000 card being loaded into an old P-II PC running SuSE 10.0. I just used the driver on the CD, which had a similar but not identical name. When done, in the SuSE config tool, I changed the module name from "ath_pci" (automatically assigned, but didn't work) to "ndiswrapper".

Cool

To get two Linux Boxes to communicate use "NFS". To get Linux to communicate with M$Windows, use "Samba". To get M$Windows to communicate with M$Windows, use "NetBios over TCP/IP".

dell R74092us.EXE file for Belkin F5D7000

Very Very new to Linux, built the computer myself (not bad for a 57 year old disabled nurse) but I've always hated hated windows. I think I have Suse 10 loaded, but was thinking about switching to the latest ubantu version, would this work with that?? Why use a Dell file?? Can I copy the file to a cd?? Don't know any command line, DOS was a long time ago....so wish me luck. Dorothy
