Question Zyxel G360 installation with Ubuntu 8.10

I would like to use a Zyxel G 360 WiFi PCI adaptor on Ubuntu 8.10 I get "tnet 1130 invalid driver" response when trying to install its drivers. I have followed Ubuntu instructions. The Hardware card is recognised but "UNCLAIMED". The chipset is ACX111 by Texas Instruments. I have used the Windows driver version 1.0.0.10 as the source for the .inf file.
Is there a solution - apart from throwing the card away, that seems a real waste!

For which windows ?
Vista drivers often give problems.
Try XP drivers

The driver is for Windows up to and including XP. Has anyone installed this card or any using the TI Chipset?

I'm using the 64bit vs of Ubuntu, i686. Is this a clue? Will try using a G302 (same chipset i believe)Windows Vista driver which comes in a 64bit flavour.
