wpa_supplicant settings help

Hi,

I've setup my laptop for wireless succesfully with IPW2200 drivers and the wpa supplicant program.

However, in the wpa_supplicant.conf file i need to type the network password in the file to be able to start the wpa support. Since this is only a text file, i can be read and my password can be known to everyone.

Is there a way to encrypt or hide this file or keep it secure away from users?

Thanks

Change the permissions on it so only root can read write to it. I think it mentions something about it in the file.
