WPA supplicant problems on Slack 10.2 with ipw2200

Hi all,

I wnder if someone can point me in the right direction. I'm trying to access my AP using WPA over an ipw2200 card. i am running WPA supplicant 0.4.9.

I have a script which has the following:

/sbin/ifconfig eth1 up
/sbin/iwconfig eth1 essid wireless-test
/usr/sbin/wpa_supplicant -w -Dwext -ieth1 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -d

And my /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf:

ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
ctrl_interface_group=0
eapol_version=1
ap_scan=1
fast_reauth=1

network={
  scan_ssid=0
  ssid="wireless-test"
  proto=WPA
  key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
  pairwise=TKIP
  group=TKIP
  psk="mysuperpsk"
}

However when I run my script I get an error saying:

Code:

No keys have been configured - skip key clearing

And on it cycles... :-(

RTFM and STFW to no avail - any ideas anyone?

Have you tried making your wpa_supplicant.conf from the output of the following?

/usr/bin/wpa_passphrase "your essid" "your passphrase"
