Question wpa enable access point on linux

hey guys;

i was wondering if anyone has ever sucessfully deployed a wpa(enterprise or personal) enabled access point on linux?wat i am particularly interested in is what card,firmware,driver,and kernel did u use.any documentation that u might have done will also prove to be usefull.
