wlan with wep doesn't work

I have an Access Point which use a 128 Bit Hex WEP Key for transmission.

My Linux Computer is a Centrino Notebook with a integrated ipw2100 WLAN Card.

The Card works normally. I have integrate the firmware and driver for the wlan card. The connection between AP and wlan card works fine, without WEP Key.

I tested many variations to load the key with iwconfig:

iwconfig eth1 key xxxx-xxxx-xxxx ....

If I view the card configuration by "iwconfig eth1", the key was displayed, but the connection between AP and wlan card don't exist.

The command output of

iwlist eth1 key

told me, that no keys where found.



If anyone have a solution for the problem, or any ideas, please help me.
