Question wlan on suse 9.1 with A7N8X-E Deluxe mbd


hi guys
i have bought a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe Mother board which has onboard dual lan facility but i am not able to configure wlan on suse 9.1
The wlan works perfectly well in windows but on suse 9.1 it doesnt detect the network
can someone plzzzzzzzzz help me
i cant work on this windows for long

OK the first thing I'd say to do is to update SuSE. you need the firmware update. there are 3 just sitting there in YOU, near the bottom. Check this board's HCL second, and third go googling for it. you need to know what the part no/model # is though.

p.s. My laptop has the Centrino 2100 wireless card... plain SuSE install didn't have the updated firmware, but once I got that out of the way, I haven't had a problem since. also, you might try using a virtual alias under your network config applet.
