Wireless Usb Adapter

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
plz help, i am trying so very hard to become a Linux convert.. I am using Fedora Core 2 witha 2.6 kernel version, but every step of the way i am running in to problems..

I have a wireless network at home with windows, and trying to make my linux machine the internet server. However linux will not recognize my usb wireless card, and to make matters worse my wireless card has no company name what so ever on it or its driver software for windows, the only thing on it is a "11mps USB Adapter" and the FCC rules on the back...

is there anyone that can help me out there to get this card going...

P.S i am very n00b to linux so plz explain in detail..

Thanx alot , Joshwaaaa.....

theres a tutorial here, this is for netgear, since you probably dont know the chipset of your wireless card, we'll assume prism2 for now, its really generic.

Maybe "lspci" recognizes some part of your card?
