Wireless security camera setup

Hi I am looking for some tips on setting up a security camera system at work there are 2 floors that need coverage from 4 corners each making 8 cameras in total I was looking into making this work wirelessly, I was looking at getting somthing like this http://www.bluwireless.com/products/nc1000l10.html for each floor and adding a a wireless router as the AP to the existing network will i need to add extra access points in the building so it will reach? it is a reasonably large building is there a way to test where to put the extra AP's first before purchasing I was thinking about setting up an adhoc network between to latops and walking around to test coverage is this an ideal way to test or is there a better way. anyway any suggetsions will help as I am new to wireless and not
completely sure what I am looking for yet thanks in advanced.

P.S the idea is the camera's will record directly to a computer with dedicated hard drives and the files will be archived every week.

Hello,

I'd just jump in at the deep end with some 802.11g AP's and switch between channels to see which gets the best range with least interference. 1, 6 and 11 are best. You could use netstumbler to test interference although an AP tends to broadcast a better signal than ad-hoc peers.
Cheers
Chris
