Wireless readout looks unusual?

Just recently I started using Linux. I am running on Fedora Core 2 test 3 and have loaded ndiswrapper to work with my wireless card. When I run modprobe ndiswrapper this is what I get in iwconfig for my wlan0. I am not near an AP so I guess this may be my problem. Any ideas?

Could you be a bit more specific about what your problem is? If all you did was load the ndiswrapper module, then the output you posted is fine. Your card is up and working. If you expect it to pull an essid out of the air, that doesn't work. You need to set it with the iwconfig commang:

iwconfig wlan0 essid YourESSIDHere

If you don't know your essid, you might try using any as your essid with the above command. Check out man iwconfig for more details.

I was just making sure that it was ok and working. Thanks for the opinion on its status.
