Wireless PCI cards with Linux RFMon support

I have found several PCMCIA (PC) cards that have supported Opensource drivers from projects like mad-wifi, wireless-ng & prism54g.

I have a Desktop at home and wnna use a PCI Wireless card that supports a/b/g or just 'g' standards and for which an opensource driver with RFMon support is easily available and deployable.

Anybody uses PCI cards from such vendors with any degree of succes??
