Wireless Management in Mandriva

Hi all.

I have Mandriva 2005 LE and I love it. I use it on my desktop and my laptop. How can I manage multiple wireless networks in it? I really liked the KWiFi manager when I used knoppix on this computer and it worked beautifully to manage the 4+ different networks I have to connect to (School, Work, Home, Girlfriend's house, etc.)

Right now i have only figured out how to set up one wireless configuration at once. It's getting to be a pain in the ass to change settings whenever I switch networks. Is there a package similar to KWiFi for Mandriva?

Thanks a bunch!

KWifi should come as part of the standard KDE install. What window manager are you using - look under Internet menu, or try searching for it within your Mandriva packagement tool. I don't think it can be downloaded + installed separately without other KDE components, so probably easier to have Mandriva sort out all the dependencies for you if it's not already there.

I'm using KDE, but it didn't come natively in Mandriva. I have it downloaded, but I can't get it to manage profiles and such. It seems that the "net applet" won't defer wireless management to it. I've just been manually switching my profiles around, entering in the Essid's and encryption keys.

Is there another manager out there that might work?

Hmm... I'm all out of ideas,
