wireless linux not connecting to router pc, windows wireless works
i have a slackware 10.2/2.6.17.8 pc running rc.firewall script from easy firewall generator web site
wired pc's can wan and lan, windows wireless can wan and lan i have a wireless slackware laptop that cant network at all, it networked fine before i switched to the router pc, dns has been added to resolv.conf rc.local follows, gw below is eth1 of the router pc /usr/local/sbin/wpa_supplicant -Bw -Dndiswrapper -iwlan0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf /sbin/ifconfig wlan0 up 192.168.0.199 /sbin/route add default gw 192.168.0.1 /sbin/iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed /sbin/iwconfig wlan0 key restricted s:xxxxxxxxxxxxx cant ping anything but itself i can post more information as necessary, thanks |
Nevermind
i shutdown the laptop and turned it back on, works fine now, seems the wireless nic got messed up with the wap when i redid the networking with the router pc
