wireless internet in backtrack 5
does anyone else have the same problem
my wireless internet doesn't work in backtrack 5
i have a bcm 4312 wireless card
does anyone know a driver for bcm4312 card that would make it work in backtrack5
Have you installed the needed firmware for that device?
well i couldn't use my wireless but i installed the drivers in fedora and it worked
but they are in rpm format i dont think they would work in backtrack 5
other than that everything is in its default mode i haven't installed anything
thanx for your reply
EDIT: is there a site from whiich i can download the firmware
If you are going to use an Operating System EXPLICITLY designed for "network penetrating" ( AKA "site cracking") and "Computer CRACKING "
-- hopefully used legally --
then YOU need to do a bit of research on its use
it was never intended for new computer users .
you might want to read the bt web site
read the forums also
