WindowsXP, Wifi, WEP, and Samba: connectivity problems

I have a small office scenario with multiple client machiens runing different stages of Windows XP, and a server running Samba on FC3.

Apperently, WinXP only authenticate WEP connections AFTER a user has logged in. However the clients use roaming profiles by way of Samba setup as domain controller.

Does anyone know how to get WinXP to authenticate the WEP pre login so that login is possible.

PS: Forgice me for the windowish nature of this question, but I am unsre of where to go to get help fro Windows problems.

If the application that does the WEP authentication has registered itself as a service, you can set it to start at boot. That's the only thing I have off the top of my head.
