Question Where did my network devices go?

Newbie Disaster!

I was tinkering around in the Network control GUI in Fedora Core 4 and suddenly lost both of my network devices. My broadcom internal ethernet card and my ndiswrapper [which I worked very hard to install].

I have nothing showing in the Network control at all. How do I get these devices to show up there again?

What were you tinkering with ?

Are the devices till physically there and viewable from lspci, and is it not simply a case of the correct modules being loaded? If you try lsmod, it should show you what's running - try manually loading ndiswrapper and the module for your wired network card and see what happens.
