I just installed Mandriva Free 2006 on my system. Under the hardware manager->scanners I see wg111 listed as a scanner. It is listed again under unknown devices. I attempted to install the driver using ndiswrapper but it claims that no hardware for that driver is present.
I also run Dynebolic (based on Debian) and am able to configure the hardware using ndiswrapper.
Is there a way to keep Mandriva from looking at this device as a scanner? Any other ideas?
am having the same problem i read in some page about installing an older ndswrapper and that it would work but am new at this so i hope some one gives me step by step on how to do this!
