usb adapter TP link-- Atheros AR8132 in Fedora14

Hi all

This adapter was working great on Fedora 13. I just plugged it in, without installing any driver. I recently had to install Fedora 14. Gnome network manager still connects to the wireless, but I get no data or at most a speed of few tens of Bytes, enough for ping and nothing more.

The router I am using it the same; every condition is the same as it was when I used the adapter wit Fedora 13.

The machine is a Compaq mini 110c netbook. For completeness of information, I have also windows xp on it, on which the adapter sometimes works fine but often does not allow me to browse the web (error 105).

Anyway, if I get closer to the router (I got the external adapter becuse my room is too far from the router) and can use the built-in antenna, all the above problems disappear, both in Fedora 14 and in windows xp.

Thanks!

as it appears from lsusb, the chipset is Atheros AR9001U-(2)NG... I mistakenly wrote the ethernet one in the post subject. Sorry for the confusion.
