Upgrading ndiswrapper and installing new driver

I originally used ndiswrapper 0.7 to get my wirless card driver working but I am having problems getting the WEP working with this driver so I want to use ndiswrapper 0.9 and a different driver to run my wireless card.

What do I need to do to remove the old driver install and old ndiswrapper version? Or can I just write over the old driver without getting any conflict problems? Basically, what do I need to do with the old ndiswrapper, old driver, and old configuration before I go and install the new ndiswrapper and driver?

Thanks a lot

I think the only thing you have to do is remove the old kernel module (ndiswrapper.ko) from /lib/modules/kernelversion/misc.
