Post Unable to work RaLink RT2561/RT61 and Ubuntu 7.1


Hallo:

I'm unable to work a RaLink RT2561/RT61 on Ubuntu 7.1.

I've installed packages with synaptic.

What i have:

But wireless can't be found with wireless devices.

¿What have i forgotten?

I'm Having the exact same problem... Unfortunately I'm still kind of new at ubuntu and am not sure how to get the info your asking for. I am very interested to see how it turns out though. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide for this issue.

Hello

I suppose you use Gnome. You got to Places -> computer. You click filesystem -> etc -> network. There you will find a file interfaces, doubleclick on it to open, select the content and copy it into a reply.

I have managed to get the wired connection working.. but wireless still doesn't work.
