Hi!

I am trying to use a Belkin wireless card and a Belkin wireless router to network two computers together running Linux. The first computer is connected wirelessly to the router. The second computer is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable. I can ping the router's IP address over the wireless connection from the first computer. However, I have trouble
connecting to the second computer from the first computer through the router. I've tried to telnet into the second computer from the first computer using a previously known ip address, but I am given a "no route to host"
message. I'm wondering if the second computer's IP address was changed by the router. Is there a way to check the IP of something connected to a router? Would I need to do any further configuration?

I would recommend checking the settings on your router. You can usually do this through your web browser and entering the address of your router into it. You should then be able to see the address which has been assigned.
