Trouble with Wireless

Hello all,
Mike here, hope all is well with everyone. I am in need of some help. Yes I am new to Linux. I am a full time student at Sac State. I want to use more Linux and less Windows. Most of my classes require the use of the Unix system on campus, or remotely Putty or VNC. I want to be able to use my Linux while in class to follow the Instructor. I have the AWLC3026T Wireless CardBus Adapter Airlink 101. It works in Windows and is not even seen in Linux. Any and all help will be much needed and appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael Cook Struggling Newbe

There appears to be little information available on that specific card. Perhaps the ndiswrapper project can help you get that card working.

If you don't mind paying a few dollars, Linuxant Driverloader is extremely painless and easy to use> I have a Linksys card and it had it up and running in little time (I was having problems with ndiswrapper and got desperate ) Linuxant give you a time limited demo which works great. Which reminds me, I'm coming to the end of my demo and will soon have to pay for it....

Sorry to bring up an old thread but, to the original poster, did you ever get that card working? I'm trying to get that same card working on a laptop with fedora core 5 on it.
