Anyone out there who is mentoring newbies or giving personal instruction at your local LUG I have an interesting combination of tools that may be of help. I have been playing around with Synergy across 2-3 of my computers using my MiFi2200 to network. The MiFi will connect up to five devices to the internet using my cellular provider (account required = money) using wifi. I am not endorsing any provider or saying that this is necessarily cost effective just cool. So far I have just been using win but it should be no trouble with linux.
