Is there a reason you want to switch to wireless when wired seems to work for you? I *ONLY* use wireless on laptops, and even then ONLY in rooms that don't already have Ethernet connections. I do this because wired connections are more secure and more reliable. In any case, I'm sure you have considered these things. You will need to get a wireless adaptor for each computer except your router. For your router, get a wireless access point and connect it via a cross-over cable to your current internal connection.
