SuSE 9.1 and Wireless-G PCI Cards

Which Wireless-G cards are compatible with SuSE Pro 9.1? Currently I have a Linksys WMP54G PCI Adapter with a BCM94306 Chipset and I can't figure out how to get it to work.

Another question would be how do I get my card to work?

I've heard that SuSE has pretty good wireless support, but if it won't work, try ndiswrapper, available at http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net
As long as you have the kernel source installed, the installation is fairly simple--just read the INSTALL file. Ndiswrapper works with most broadcom chipsets, as far as I know. I have a WPC54G working with ndis.
Also, check out the wireless networking forums here--there's a ton of info on ndiswrapper.

Not sure about Suse 9 but this worked for me on Suse 10.

Install NDISWRAPPER using YAST CC

Copy bcm43xx.cat, bcmwl5.inf, and bcmwl5.sys off the driver cd onto HardDisk

Open root shell

Install Driver
ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5.inf
ndiswrapper -m
modprobe ndiswrapper

Configure driver to start on boot
vi /etc/init.d/boot.local
Insert
modprobe ndiswrapper
wq

Configure the new hardware with Yast CC
Network Devices
Network Card
Add
Device Type: Wireless
Module Name: ndiswrapper
On next several pages enter your networks information

Reboot
