Exclamation SUSE 10 freezes

Good afternoon everyone. I am a newbie so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I have a Dell Latitude R400GT, BOIS Version A13 (If that matters) That i am running SUSE 10. Half way through the boot process if freezes. When i am in verbose mode the message it freezes on is 'SUSEfirewall2: Warning: ip6tables does not support state matching. Extended IPv6 support disabled' Can this be fixed? I installed another distro (Mandriva) and it didn't lock-up. I really Like SUSE and would love to continue using it if this issue can be resolved. Many thanks in advance guys.

I am not a Suse Expert, but have you tried booting in failsafe mode? That should get you in the system. Maybe something happened to your firewall setup. Try disabling that and see if you can boot. If you can, then try reconfiguring your firewall from scratch.

Have you installed some 3rd party firewall configuration programs? Maybe updating iptables would help.

Thanks Andrew for the reply. unfortunatly it happens when i boot into failsafe mode also. Its funny, it will happen 3-4 times in a row, each time i have to give it the one finger salute and then it just works...It is a fresh install with only the updates installed. I will try to monkey with the firewall and keep you posted..Again thank you By the way, what would you recommend for a WiFi card? I have a Linksys wireless G WPC54G V3 but have heard that the Belkin cards are kick-ass! Thanks for your help.
