Slackware wireless with Belkin card

Hi,

I have the following computer:
Pentium 4
Belkin wireless card
Slackware 10.0

I have tried the following to set up the wireless card:
/etc/rc.d/rc.wireless start

-and also-

1. Downloaded and compiled linux-wlan project from linux-wlan.org
2. Configured as per README file
Then, when I run /etc/rc.d/rc.wlan start, it says:
"Can't find wlan0"

And when I do:
modprobe prism2_pci
it says "can't find device prism2_pci".

And also, slackware 10.0 comes with something called iwconfig. When I run iwconfig it only lists lo and eth0, but doesn't have any wlan0.

Is there a newbie help page I should be visiting?

What kind (specific model) of Belkin card do you have?

It is a Belkin High Speed Mode Wireless G Desktop Card. It says Version 1101 on the box. I bought it because when I bought a Belkin network card, there were linux drivers on the cd, hoping the wireless would also have something similar.

Part # F5D7001

Here is the Belkin site for the exact card I have:
