setting up wlan card asus wl-138g 802.11g


Please can anyone help.very new on linux.
I have found a driver for the asus wlan card a linux-wlan-ng-0.1.8-pre13 tarwirelan tar archive but have no idear how to load it in or with what program to do it with have got kde 3.1.info as follows:
Libranet gnu/linux. Kernel 2.4.21 galileo technology 11ab:1fa6 chip
driver at the moment on cd-rom disk hdc1 drive and that is the best info i now for the moment would be very greatfull for any help thanks Ron in Stoke-on Trent

Hi Can't help you but could you tell me where you found a driver for the Asus card?
