Searching for HotSpots?

Is there any type of utility that will let you see what is going on with your WIFI adapter in Linux?

I have my "Broadcom Xtreme G" internal wireless adapter working in FC3 Linux but I have no way to see what I am connecting to or having a GUI to see what available Hot Spots are being picked up. I just want something that will show me all the available access points rather than having to go to terminal and do "ifconfig".

You can also use iwlist <interface> scan in any terminal, if your card supports it or if you have a driver installed that allows scanning.

I don't think you need to install the entire KDE desktop to use KWiFiManager ( I know you don't have to be running KDE; I use it all the time with XFCE4), but check the docs to be certain which libraries you'll need.
