response req ASAP- how to disable broadcast of beacons from access point?


i am using a SMC2802W PCI Card in master mode (access point).
i dont want it to broadcast the essid in its beacons, if this is not possible, atleast how do i prevent it from broadcasting beacons at all. i want to prevent innocent neighbours from detecting my access points beacons. can some one respond at the earliest?
