Hope you need to confirm with your internet provider this particular dongal support with fedora, if they issued the dongal just check with them or you need to seek the help from Micromax. As i referred the websites Micromax promises on releasing the support for limited versions of Linux operating system shortly.

you can always try sakis3g script to use Micromax Modems.....i am using them.
works fine for my current distro (Ubuntu 10.04).

ok i got it solved.

install sakis 3g script & install usbmodemswitch

download from http://www.sakis3g.org/#i386

tar xf sakis3g-source.tar.bz2
cd sakis3g-0.2.0e
./compile embedded
./build/sakis3gz --interactive

It shows internet connected but you have to edit the /etc/resolv.conf file for the internet browser to work.
just add the lines to resolv.conf
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

Thats hit & internet starts.

for internet on terminal edit the /etc/yum.conf file

& yum install also started
