Remotely log into RedHat from a Windows XP

How can I remotely log into a RedHat desktop, which is connected to the campus network and I know its IP address, from a Windows XP mechine? What is a good free software I can download to do that? Is there some tricks I need to be aware of?

Thanks for your attention.

PuTTY

Well, If you don't mind working on the command line all the time (remotely) just use PuTTY. It's free, small, and simple. Use SSH and go.

Graphical interface? now that I'm not so sure about. I use PuTTY all the time and it works flawlessly (command line only, I agree, but, no real issues.).
