Realtek 8180 problem
Hello everybody!
I'm having a problem with a Realtek 8180 based Wireless card... My machine is running Mandrake 10, I installed NDISwrapper from a RPM package, and I just can't get it to work! After selecting my INF file, I execute the command "ndiswrapper -m", but WLAN0 is not present! IFCONFIG and IWCONFIG don't detect it! After executing the command "ndiswrapper -l", my card name appears saying that the device and the drivers is present.
So, after successfully installing my Wireless card driver using NDISwrapper, I can't use it through wlan0...
Help, please

Did you load the module with:
modprobe ndiswrapper

Tryed it... It says: "Cannot locate module", although, if I type "modprobe -c", I can find "alias net8180 ndiswrapper" in the list!

I;m guessing there is something wrong with the rpm, perhaps it is for a different kernel version. Try installing the latest version from:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ndiswrapper/

I can't compile that file...I have a prob with kernel sources...It can't locate my kernel source...and I don't have the install CD's.
Could you point me to some working RPM's?
My kernel version is 2.4...

I have no idea about mandrake rpms and it will likely need to be for your exact kernel version. You should be able to download the kernel headers from Mandrake.
