problems with wifi connection


i can go to mcdonalds or a bar a block from where i stay and get connected to wifi but cant pick up wifi anywhere else i go to the public library i cant pick up that wifi but i get the hotel wifi across the street is there a setting in wireless conecction or is it in my program please help i only have 2 paces for internet right now thank you for any help please post eply or emal me at jeremiahcdavis@yahoo.com

We're not going to email you help...this is a community forum, where solutions are posted for EVERYONE to see and benefit from. Not the place for free, personalized, one-on-one tech support.

And you have given us no useful information to work with. You don't tell us what kind of hardware you have, what kind of system, version/distro of Linux, desktop environment, what 'program' you are talking about, or how you're connecting now (manual? do you click a network manager?) If you provide some details, we will be very happy to help you.
